ZAMBIA: ROOTED MEN
Seven Roots Ministry has partnered with Legacy Minded Men to provide Pastor Davies Banda Ministry with the necessary resources to rebuild the community of Lusaka. Legacy Minded Men has granted Pastor Davies Ministry the funds to purchase the equipment needed to launch his technical skills program. Seven Roots Ministry has provided the funds to purchase food for their street witnessing events, and material needed to execute his technical skils program.

LMM Hosts Their First Football Tournament!
LMM hosted one of the largest informal football (soccer) and netball tournaments that Lusaka has seen, with nearly 3,000 youths in attendance. LMM was able to witness to the children whilst participating. They have another Christmas tournament planned, with even greater attendance expected!

Sports Training Has Begun!
With the grand opening of the Seven Roots School this past Monday, Pastor Davies has launched a sports program. Here you see the students practicing for their upcoming soccer season. If you would like to donate items or funds towards their sports program please click here.

New Water Pump
On the morning of August 23rd we received a call from Pastor Davies that their water pump had broken at the school. What a way to start the first day! We quickly assembled reserved funds set aside for emergency instances such as these. Pastor Davies was able to purchase a brand new pump for the facility. Look at that smile!

Skills Training / Plaster
Legacy Minded Men and Seven Roots Ministry have provided the funds needed to launch a technical skills program. Pastor Davies is teaching the men how to weld, plaster, and wood work. This particular project included taking leftover building materials from past skills training to plaster homes for widows in the community.

Legacy Minded Men and Seven Roots Ministry have provided the funds needed to launch a technical skills program. Pastor Davies is teaching the men how to weld, plaster, and wood work. This particular project included desk building for the orphanages school and construction of bunk beds for the orphanages sleeping quarters.

A Fresh Coat of Paint
Pastor Davies and his men decided it was time to put a fresh coat of paint on their orphanage. In keeping with Seven Roots Ministry colors, they chose to go bold with teal.

Community Outreach
At the height of COVID in 2020, Pastor Davies and the men supported their local police department by providing hand sanitizer to the staff and inmates. They also took the opportunity to share the Gospel to the inmates. The men also stepped out into the community this past May to feed hundreds of street kids, and encourage them with the Word of God.
